Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or HSE professional.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety certification preferred.
• Good knowledge of UAE workplace safety procedures, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Familiarity with UAE health and safety regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of warehouses, loading areas, vehicles, and operational workplaces.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Conduct risk assessments for logistics, warehouse, loading, unloading, and material-handling activities.
• Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe working practices.
• Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, training sessions, and awareness programs.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor emergency preparedness, fire safety equipment, evacuation procedures, and emergency drills.
• Coordinate with supervisors and management to resolve identified safety concerns.
• Promote safe forklift, vehicle, lifting, loading, and warehouse practices.
• Support internal safety audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure employees understand and follow company safety procedures and applicable UAE regulations.
