Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or HSE professional in logistics/ warehousing.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent safety certification preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office for safety reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of warehouses, loading areas, vehicles, and operational workplaces.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Conduct risk assessments for logistics, warehouse, loading, unloading, and material-handling activities.
• Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safe working practices.
• Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, training sessions, and awareness programs.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain safety records, inspection checklists, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
• Monitor emergency preparedness, fire safety equipment, evacuation procedures, and emergency drills.
• Coordinate with supervisors and management to resolve identified safety concerns.
• Promote safe forklift, vehicle, lifting, loading, and warehouse practices.
• Support internal safety audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure employees understand and follow company safety procedures and UAE regulations.

This role is ideal for an HSE professional who can identify workplace hazards, implement safety procedures, conduct inspections, and promote a strong safety culture across logistics and warehouse activities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for safety reporting and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with operational teams.
