Job summary

CSCEC Middle East is seeking a Safety Officer to oversee and implement health, safety, and environmental practices at construction sites in the UAE, including complex civil works. You will drive HSE compliance and reporting, coordinating with site teams and management to uphold standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with safety specialization, 5–7 years of UAE experience, and recognized HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC or IOSH Managing Safely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and related safety/environmental field.
• 5–7 years of relevant UAE infrastructure and civil project experience.
• Experience with Dubai Municipality projects including secant piling, shoring, micro tunneling, pumping stations, and NDRC works.
• NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent HSE certification.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, DM standards, ISO 45001, and environmental management systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership and report-writing skills.
