Job Description
- Enforce hospital safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations (OSHA/NEBOSH/MOH)
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Provide safety training to hospital staff
- Maintain safety records and reports
- Coordinate emergency response and fire drills
- Monitor PPE use and overall workplace safety
Desired Candidate Profile
- Certified in NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in health and safety, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment
- Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and healthcare compliance standards
- Excellent communication, report writing, and training skills
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Able to work under pressure and respond quickly in emergencies
- Familiar with PPE, fire safety systems, and emergency response procedures
