Job description

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Safety Manager to ensure all health and safety protocols are implemented and maintained on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in site safety practices risk management and regulatory compliance ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop implement and monitor safety policies and procedures on-site

  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and standards

  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive measures

  • Lead incident investigations and prepare reports with corrective actions

  • Provide safety training and induction to workers and subcontractors

  • Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits

  • Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to resolve safety issues

  • Maintain accurate documentation of safety records and incidents

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Manager on construction sites

  • In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices

  • Certification in Health and Safety (e.g. NEBOSH OSHA or equivalent) is preferred

  • Strong communication and leadership skills

  • Proficient in report writing and documentation
