Job summary

KONE is seeking a Safety Engineer to strengthen safety management across UAE operations. On-site in Sharjah or Abu Dhabi, you will assist the Safety Manager in implementing the KONE Way for Safety, conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, and fostering a proactive safety culture.

The role requires NEBOSH certification, 3–5 years of safety experience, and collaboration with teams and contractors to enhance safety performance. English proficiency is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory; additional safety certifications are a plus.
• Three to five years of experience in safety, ideally within the elevator industry.
• Trakhees-approved Safety Engineer.
• Fluency in English is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Safety policy and objectives: support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the safety management system.
• Safety risk management: monitor and develop safety risk management processes and practices.
• Safety Assurance: collect, measure and report safety data; conduct audits and investigations.
• Safety Promotion: develop competencies and train others in safety.
