Job summary

KONE Middle East is seeking a Safety Officer to enhance safety management and performance in the UAE. This role involves implementing and improving KONE's safety systems, supporting safety committee activities, and ensuring compliance through audits.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree, possess a NEBOSH certification, and have 2–5 years of safety experience, preferably in the elevator industry. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory; additional safety certifications are a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience in safety, ideally within the elevator industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the KONE safety management system.
• Monitor and develop safety risk management processes.
• Collect and report on leading and lagging safety data.
• Perform safety audits and compliance checks.
• Proactively communicate safety information and best practices.
