Zusammenfassung

Sunreef Yachts Eco is seeking an experienced Safety Engineer to support HSE activities within a luxury yacht manufacturing and shipyard environment. The role focuses on implementing safety standards across yacht construction, assembly, outfitting, testing and commissioning.

You will work with production, engineering and quality teams to maintain a safe workplace, conduct inspections, manage PTW for high-risk tasks and oversee chemical handling, FRP processes and lifting operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Typically 3–5+ years of HSE/Safety experience, preferably in yacht/marine environments.
• Experience with Permit-to-Work, risk assessments, incident investigations and site inspections.
• Experience supervising hot work, confined-space entry, work at height and lifting operations.

Aufgaben

• Monitor HSE compliance across shipyard, yacht construction, production and outfitting areas.
• Conduct routine safety inspections of workshops, vessels, docks and production spaces.
• Identify unsafe conditions and acts; ensure timely corrective actions.
• Manage Permit-to-Work for high-risk activities and verify controls before work begins.
• Oversee FRP/composite safety, chemical handling and ventilation in production areas.
• Prepare risk assessments and JSA/JHA; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate incidents and near misses; track corrective actions to closure.
• Support emergency plans, drills and safety training; promote hazard reporting.
