Job summary

Sunreef Yachts in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a skilled Composite Engineer to join the engineering team. You will design, develop, and support production of composite structures for luxury yachts, ensuring structural integrity and high-quality execution.

The role requires hands-on composite design and manufacturing experience, with proficiency in SolidWorks and Rhino, and the ability to read lamination drawings and documentation. Excellent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in composite design, analysis or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of composite materials and structural behavior.
• Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks (advanced surfacing) and Rhino 3D.
• Ability to read and produce technical drawings and lamination documentation.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D models of composite structures and components.
• Design plugs, molds, and tooling systems for production.
• Prepare 2D workshop drawings and technical documentation.
• Define and optimize lamination schedules for composite parts.
• Support production with technical guidance during manufacturing and assembly.
• Review structural integrity and manufacturability of designs.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and planning teams for workflow efficiency.
• Participate in problem solving during production phases.
