Role Summary

The Safety Engineer ensures safe execution of highway, bridge and underpass projects by aligning site operations with UAE regulations and corporate HSE standards, reducing incidents, improving compliance and maintaining uninterrupted project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement HSE policies, plans and UAE safety legislation across project sites.
• Monitor safety performance and recommend improvements to meet project targets.
• Ensure contractors follow approved safety procedures and legal requirements.
• Review safety plans, emergency procedures and risk assessments before execution.
• Conduct site inspections and report unsafe practices for immediate correction.
• Lead safety meetings and track progress on action items.
• Evaluate permit‑to‑work systems, toolbox talks and safety documentation.
• Investigate incidents, communicate findings and enforce preventive actions.
