Job summary

KEO Group in Abu Dhabi seeks a Safety Advisor with 8+ years of experience and a strong HSE background. You will implement project HSE plans, review contractor HSE documents, and conduct daily to monthly safety inspections and audits.

NEBOSH General Certificate and ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualifications are required, with UAE building project experience preferred. The role emphasizes safety leadership, compliance, and active participation in HSE meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years career experience with a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is required.
• ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualification is required.
• Project experience on building projects in the UAE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implementing the requirements of the KEO project HSE management plan.
• Implementing client HSE procedures and reporting requirements.
• Reviewing and approving contractor’s HSE documents (e.g., HSE Plan, JSA, Method Statements / Risk Assessments and PTW).
• Carrying out daily HSE inspections, weekly HSE assessments, and monthly HSE audits.
• Tracking the closure of prohibition & improvement notices issued to the Contractor.
• Overseeing incident investigations & monitor the implementation of identified corrective action.
• Attending and contributing to project H&S meetings and management safety walks.

We envisage success in this role to include;

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 8 years career experience partnered with a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.

NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent along with ISO-45001 Lead Auditor qualification are required.

Project experience gained from working on buildingprojects in UAE is being looked for.
