Job Description

The SaaS Account Executive plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the software-as-a-service (SaaS) market. This individual is responsible for managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and onboarding while building strong relationships with potential clients. The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with a deep understanding of SaaS products, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping businesses find solutions through technology.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through networking, inbound inquiries, and outbound outreach.
  2. Manage the full sales cycle, including product demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and closing deals.
  3. Understand client needs and effectively communicate the value proposition of the company’s SaaS solutions.
  4. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in CRM software.
  5. Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  6. Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  7. Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and SaaS market developments.
  9. Provide feedback to product teams based on client interactions and market insights.
  10. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars when required.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
  3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  4. Strong understanding of SaaS sales models and recurring revenue streams.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  6. Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  7. Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  9. Tech-savvy with a passion for software solutions and innovation.
