JOB TITLE

Source to Pay Associate Accountant | Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions | Finance

ROLE SUMMARY

This position is based in Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions (GS). This is a new department which has recently been set up for all the wholly owned subsidiaries of MAF. GS is responsible for all the transactional accounting operations of the entities including preparation of Financial Statements. The above position will be responsible for delivery of assigned Accounts Payable processes, approving AP entries, General Ledger supporting activities.

ROLE PROFILE

1. Support in the closure of payable transactions of AED 10.2 Billion annually (2019 figure)
2. Maintain all vendor accounts within company policy
3. Review submitted payment requests by various departments to ensure they are in line with the governing policies & procedures
4. Responsible for assigned vendor account reconciliations and necessary follow-up actions
5. Review staff Travel and Expense (T&E) reimbursement claims in accordance with company policy
6. Monitor aging vendor accounts on a monthly basis, to clear issues if any in a timely manner
7. Process invoice booking/payment as assigned by Process to Pay Process Lead Manager (Invoice booking, GRN, etc.)
8. Monitor, manage and resolve supplier queries/complaints, escalating where necessary to the Process Lead Manager in accordance with agreed SLA

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting is a must
2. Minimum 6 months of experience working in Finance Department including some experience within Accounts Payables function
3. Analytical & Numerical skills, Attention to detail
4. Strong customer service skills
5. Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience
6. Able to meet short deadlines and deliver quality work under pressure
