Job summary

Tempo is building a scalable, payments-focused blockchain. We are seeking a senior engineer to design, develop and ship complex features with a focus on performance, benchmarking, and robust collaboration across teams.

You will own the development lifecycle on the Ethereum stack, with Rust at core, and thrive in ambiguity, communicating clearly and moving fast in a startup-like environment.

Qualifications

• Significant experience building scalable, distributed systems in Rust.
• Deep familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem, EVM and Execution Layer; hands-on experience across the Ethereum stack.
• Self-motivated and independent, excited by ambiguity and developing concrete solutions to nebulous problems.
• Collaborative and an exceptional communicator.

• Design, develop and ship complex features, indexing on performance and benchmarking

Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem, particularly the EVM and Execution Layer, as well as reth and consensus mechanisms; hands‑on experience working across the entire Ethereum stack is ideal
