HookahPlace MENA is hiring Runners for its Dubai Creek Harbour lounge. The runner links kitchen, bar and floor, delivering food and drinks to tables, checking presentation and keeping stations stocked to maintain smooth service.

Previous runner or busser experience in a busy restaurant or lounge is required, along with basic English and current residence in Dubai. This entry role offers a clear path toward waiter and senior front‑of‑house positions within our international hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Previous food runner or busser experience in a busy venue.
• Basic conversational English.
• Currently based in Dubai with valid UAE visa preferred.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to correct tables promptly.
• Check plate presentation, temperature and order accuracy before leaving the pass.
• Clear, reset and polish tables between guests to maintain turnover.
• Restock service stations with cutlery, glassware, napkins and condiments.
• Support waiters and kitchen staff during peak service and communicate delays.
• Assist with opening setup, closing cleaning and general venue tidiness.

HookahPlace MENA is hiring Runners for its new lounge opening at Dubai Creek Harbour this autumn. The runner is the link between the kitchen, the bar and the floor, and in a high-volume venue that link decides whether service feels effortless or chaotic. You will deliver food and drinks to the right tables promptly, check presentation and accuracy at the pass, clear and reset tables between guests, and keep service stations fully stocked throughout the shift. It is a physically active role that suits someone fast, attentive and genuinely willing to help the team wherever the pressure is heaviest. In return, it is one of the best entry points into a growing international hospitality brand, with a clear path toward waiter and senior front-of-house positions.
