RSK Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with the client/representative for punch list closure.
2. Issue progress reports.
3. Follow up retrofit operations in all depots.
4. Assure train fitness by coordinating with RSK Team and the operator.
5. Carry out troubleshooting during warranty period including investigation and repair.
6. Carry out fleetwide check activities.
7. Report & register any deviation (failure/event) to the RSK Lead Engineer.
8. Execute test & troubleshooting procedures to evaluate system performance and perform failure analysis on parts to be returned for repair.
9. Implementation of field modifications/retrofit activities.
10. Lead and supervise team of technicians for retrofit and day-to-day activities.
11. Support specific technical investigations by Engineering or internal/external Suppliers.
12. Ensure good information flow about interventions & operations within troubleshooting to support shift transition.
13. Perform post-work testing and validation as necessary.
14. Close the work orders for all work carried out.
15. Support with train movements and other depot tasks as required.
16. Report any damage or shortage of parts/tools to the logistic department to request replacement parts or order spares and/or consumables, tools, etc.
17. Respect the quality requirements for field modification deployment/retrofit.
18. Apply & enforce Alstom & customer EHS & security rules and processes on customer site.
