Job summary

Urban Ridge Supplies invites a Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineer to lead the selection, design review, and technical evaluation of rotating equipment for Oil & Gas and industrial plants in the UAE. You will apply API/ISO standards, analyze performance curves, NPSH, efficiency, and power needs, while coordinating with process, piping, electrical, instrumentation and structural teams.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of rotating equipment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of rotating equipment engineering experience, preferably Oil & Gas EPC.
• Strong knowledge of centrifugal pumps, compressors, pumps, fans and turbines.
• Familiarity with API 610, 617, 618, 619, 674, 675, 682 and ISO 5199 standards.
• Ability to review equipment selection, performance curves, hydraulic conditions, NPSH, efficiency, power and operating envelopes.
• Understanding of seals, bearings, lubrication, couplings, shaft alignment, and vibration monitoring.
• Experience evaluating datasheets, vendor drawings, and performance test procedures.
• Familiarity with vibration analysis, rotor dynamics and machinery troubleshooting.
• Understanding foundation requirements, dynamic loading, nozzle loads and piping interface.
• Experience in FAT, vendor coordination and inspection.
• Knowledge of installation, commissioning, start-up and maintenance of rotating machinery.
• Familiarity with ADNOC specs and API/ASME/ISO standards.
• Strong coordination with process, piping, electrical, instrumentation and structural disciplines.
• Offshore project experience.
• Familiarity with equipment condition monitoring systems.
