Job summary
Ikonhouse LLC is seeking a Mechanical Rotating Equipment Engineer to lead selection, design review and technical evaluation of rotating equipment for Oil & Gas EPC projects in the UAE. The role requires strong understanding of performance curves, NPSH, efficiency, and machinery reliability.
The candidate should be proficient with API/ASME/ISO standards, vibration analysis and equipment integration with process, piping, electrical and structural disciplines. Offshore exposure is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years in rotating equipment engineering.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines and related systems.
- Familiar with API 610/617/618/619/674/675/682 and ISO 5199.
- Ability to review equipment selection, curves, NPSH, efficiency and power.
- Understanding seals, bearings, lubrication, couplings and alignment.
- Experience with datasheets, specs, vendor drawings and tests.
- Familiarity with vibration analysis, reliability, rotor dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Select and review rotating equipment for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Evaluate performance curves, operating envelopes, and hydraulic conditions.
- Review vendor drawings and FAT procedures.
- Coordinate with process, piping, electrical, instrumentation and structural teams.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC, API, ASME and ISO standards.
- Participate in FATs, vendor coordination and inspections.
