What Does a Rooms Division Supervisor Do?
As a Rooms Division Supervisor, you play a vital role in maintaining seamless coordination between the front office, housekeeping, and guest services departments. You ll lead daily operations, ensure consistent service standards, and help deliver a memorable guest experience that reflects the Accor spirit of hospitality.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Supervise all daily activities of the Rooms Division including Front Office and Housekeeping
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly
- Collaborate with other departments to handle special guest requests or complaints
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to maintain high service standards
- Support the implementation of service and quality procedures across teams
- Coordinate with engineering, F&B, and reservations to streamline operations
- Monitor staff schedules and ensure proper coverage during peak hours
- Assist in onboarding, coaching, and evaluating team members for optimal performance
- Maintain accurate reports on occupancy, room status, and operational issues
What Skills Are Needed for a Rooms Division Supervisor in Dubai?
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- 3 4 years of experience in hotel operations, preferably in a supervisory role
- Previous experience in both Front Office and Housekeeping operations is a plus
Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Proficiency in property management systems and MS Office
- Fluency in English is required; other languages are a plus
