Job description

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Anantara employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  1. Ensure that all Guest Rooms are properly cleaned at all times in line with the hotel's Standard Operating Procedures for cleaning these areas.
  2. Ensure health & safety requirements are adhered to, including a personal knowledge of the correct usage of all chemicals used in Housekeeping.
  3. Ensure records are maintained for linen inventory, uniforms, and other items as applicable.
  4. Ensure that lost and found articles are processed properly and that the correct logs are maintained.
  5. Ensure that par levels of linen, towels, and uniforms are current and in line with inventory.
  6. Follow and recommend measures to minimize all wastage of materials and amenities used in the department.
  7. Ensure security awareness throughout the Hotel, reporting incidents to the appropriate Manager when warranted.
  8. Ensure VIP requirements are met.
  9. Ensure all special requests are met, with particular reference to families visiting our resorts with children.
  10. Ensure any special requests from guests are carried out and delivered on time, exceeding guests' expectations where possible.
  11. Clean and take care of all working equipment used by himself/herself.
  12. Report any damage or loss in a guest room immediately after being found.
  13. Remove room service trays from room & place in service area.
  14. Make room status reports.
  15. Report any suspicious persons, sleep outs, or Do Not Disturbs to housekeeping management.

Qualifications :

  1. High School diploma.
  2. Previous experience in the same position for at least 1 year.
  3. Luxury hotel experience is a must.
  4. Passion for excellent service.
  5. Excellent team player and great communication skills.
