Global Catering services seeks a Roasting Supervisor to oversee daily roasting operations, ensuring high-quality products and batch consistency across all lots.

You will supervise the roasting team, monitor processes, maintain equipment, and enforce safety and hygiene standards throughout the roasting area.

Responsibilities include planning batches, scheduling staff, coordinating with inventory, and reporting to management to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of relevant roastery experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; certifications in roasting or food production preferred.

• Supervise the roasting team and monitor production processes.
• Maintain roasting equipment and ensure safety and hygiene compliance.
• Plan daily roasting batches according to targets and demand.
• Schedule staff and assign tasks to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with inventory/warehouse teams to ensure raw materials are ready for roasting.
• Monitor team performance and productivity during each shift.
• Conduct spot checks and inspections of workstations and processes.
• Set and monitor roasting parameters to achieve consistent aroma, color, and taste.
• Operate roasting machines safely and efficiently.
• Maintain logs of roasting profiles, batch outputs, and equipment performance.
• Suggest improvements to roasting techniques, machinery, or workflows.
