Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior on-site Inspector for road and infrastructure projects in the UAE. You will lead daily inspections of earthworks, pavement layers, and associated utilities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and ITPs.

The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering and a minimum of seven years of UAE/GCC road construction experience, with strong QA/QC and reporting skills. UAE-based on-site work with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 7 years in road and infrastructure construction projects.
• Experience inspecting earthworks, subgrade, roadbase, asphalt paving, kerbs and related road works.
• Strong knowledge of road construction QA/QC, ITPs, and material testing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect earthworks, excavation, subbase, roadbase and asphalt pavement works.
• Monitor kerbs, interlock paving, footpaths and cycle tracks construction.
• Verify compliance with IFC/shop drawings and project specifications.
• Witness compaction, density, levels, and asphalt temperature tests on site.
• Maintain daily inspection records, reports and site documentation.
