Larsen & Toubro Limited in Dubai is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to implement and monitor QA/QC activities for road and highway projects, ensuring conformity with project specs, drawings, codes and client requirements. The role emphasizes hands-on inspection, testing, and meticulous documentation across earthwork, drainage, concrete, and asphalt works.

Formación

• QA/QC requirements for road/highway EPC/infrastructure projects.
• Experience in road construction quality control, material testing, inspections and documentation preferred.
• Experience with EPC road/highway projects and client/consultant coordination preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Implement QA/QC Plan, ITPs, Method Statements, and Quality Procedures.
• Monitor quality of earthwork, embankment, subgrade, GSB, WMM, bituminous works, drainage, structures, and road furniture.
• Conduct inspections at construction stages and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Coordinate with client, consultant, subcontractors, site engineers, and laboratory teams for inspections and testing.
• Ensure all construction materials are inspected and approved before use.
• Review Material Test Certificates, test reports, inspection reports, and quality records.
• Coordinate and witness field and laboratory tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt/bitumen, and other materials.
• Monitor testing requirements including FDT, sieve analysis, Proctor, CBR, concrete tests, bitumen/asphalt tests, density tests, and others.
• Raise and close NCRs, observations, and quality-related issues; implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Prepare quality dossiers for project handover and maintain audits/documentation.
