Job summary

A leading energy company in Dubai is seeking a ROAD SAFETY COORDINATOR to lead Road Safety coordination focusing on IVMS data generation and reporting. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or Diploma, NEBOSH IGC or equivalent, and a minimum of 24 years of overall experience with 5 years in Road Transport Safety. Excellent English communication skills are essential. This is a full-time position offering developmental opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year managing Road Safety aspects specifically focused on IVMS data.
• Lead Road Safety Coordinator must have 5+ years managing Road Transport Safety.

Position Title: ROAD SAFETY COORDINATOR

Overview

Lead Road Safety coordination with focus on IVMS data generation and reporting as part of the ADNOC Group requirements.

Education Qualification

• Any Bachelor Degree OR Diploma (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)

Professional / Technical Qualifications

• Minimum one of the following: NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent (subject to approval by ADNOC Group)
• Any other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion)

Mandatory

IVMS Software expertise & UAE Driving license

Other Trainings / Certifications

Other HSE trainings / Certifications will be an added advantage

Work Experience

Minimum 24 years of experience in any industry. At least 1 year of experience in managing and implementing Road Safety aspects with a specific focus on IVMS data generation and reports.

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to conduct HSE and Transport Safety orientation / induction
• HSE awareness sessions to workers
• Understand and implement Journey Management Plan
• Awareness on H2S & Breathing Apparatus where applicable
• Ability to understand and participate in Transport Safety/Road Safety Risk Assessments
• Ability to conduct Vehicle inspections with thorough knowledge on safety devices
• Ability to understand and implement Transport Emergency response plans/procedures
• Ability to prepare Road Safety awareness training materials, maintain database and generate IVMS reports
• Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills

Note

Lead Road Safety Coordinator shall possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Road Transport Safety in addition to the above requirements as per Section 6.18 HSE Organization.
