Job summary

Kama Capital, a Dubai-based trading broker, seeks an experienced Risk Officer to develop and implement the enterprise risk management framework. You will identify, assess and monitor risks across the business, ensuring controls, mitigation plans and governance are in place to protect operations and compliance.

In this role, you will maintain risk registers, monitor KRIs and prepare dashboards for senior management and the Board, while collaborating with Compliance, IT, Finance and Operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of risk management experience in Forex, financial services, fintech, banking or a regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise, operational and financial risk management.
• Experience developing risk frameworks, risk registers, KRIs and mitigation plans.
• Solid knowledge of internal controls and risk governance in regulated settings.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and challenge business practices constructively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the company’s risk register and monitor key risk indicators.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and control reviews across business functions.

• Monitor risk incidents, breaches and remediation activities and report to management.
• Prepare regular risk reports and dashboards for senior management and the Board.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Internal Audit, Finance, IT and Operations on risk matters.
• Support business continuity, crisis management and operational resilience initiatives.
• Ensure risk policies and controls align with regulatory and business requirements.
• Promote a strong risk-aware culture across the organization.

About The Role

The role will identify, assess and monitor risks across the business and work with management and functional teams to ensure appropriate controls, mitigation plans and governance are in place.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of risk management experience, preferably within Forex, Financial Services, Fintech, Banking or a regulated environment


• Strong understanding of enterprise, operational and financial risk management


• Experience developing risk frameworks, risk registers, KRIs and mitigation plans


• Strong understanding of internal controls and risk governance


• Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder management skills


• Ability to work independently and challenge business practices constructively


• Experience with regulatory or risk frameworks within the UAE financial services sector is an advantage
