Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) is seeking a Client Risk Officer to design and oversee risk management for its UAE clients. The role acts as a key second line of defence, ensuring operational, regulatory, technology and third-party risks are identified and managed.
The successful candidate will work with Compliance and MLRO teams to align risk frameworks with ADGM/FSRA and DIFC expectations, delivering regulator-ready documentation and insightful reporting to senior leadership.

The Risk Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the risk management framework for Apex clients. The role will act as a key second line of defence for the respective clients, ensuring that operational, regulatory, technology, cyber, conduct, and third-party risks are properly identified, monitored, and managed.
Between 5 to 10 years experience of risk management within financial services Strong understanding of operational risk, conduct risk, regulatory risk and governance Experience working in a regulated environment: ADGM/FSRA and DIFC experience is preferred Degree in Finance or Risk Professional certification such as FRM, PRM, or CFA are preferred
Independent mindset with the ability to challenge decisions constructively Strong integrity Good communication skills and experience reporting to board directors and senior management Strong understanding of risk frameworks, controls and regulatory expectations.
