Job description

Our client, a prominent government entity based in Ajman, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ethics, Risk & Compliance and Corporate Governance Associate to join our team.

This role will support the integration of ethics, risk management, and corporate governance practices to ensure our company operates with the highest standards of integrity and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of ethics and compliance programs and policies.
  2. Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
  3. Conduct investigations into reported compliance issues and ethical misconduct.
  4. Facilitate training programs on ethics, compliance, and corporate policies.
  5. Support the risk management process by identifying, assessing, and documenting potential risks.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
  7. Conduct risk assessments and monitor risk indicators to identify emerging risks.
  8. Prepare risk reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  9. Assist with the preparation of materials for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings.
  10. Support the development, review, and implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures.
  11. Maintain corporate records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  12. Coordinate with legal and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to governance standards.
  13. Prepare and maintain documentation related to compliance, risk management, and governance activities.
  14. Develop reports on compliance, risk, and governance matters for internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Track and document the resolution of compliance and risk issues.
