Job description

Support the organisation in fostering a Just Culture and promote the safety and wellbeing of our customers, staff, assets and environment. To assist in developing, monitoring and implementing the Keolis MHI Risk Management programme and framework within the Dubai Metro and Tram contracts. To advise and assist the contract management teams and facilities risk assessments and analysis. To assist in creating a risk aware culture where management actively seeks risk inputs into key decisions and strategies. To manage the safety input and produce daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the quality of the safety incidents data in the Assure database or otherincident databases used by the company.
  • Receive, input into the Assure database and report on the safety incidents data.
  • Produce daily incident logs, weekly, monthly and annual reports.
  • Produce ad hoc reports and analysis of incidents as requested.
  • Expert in the use of Q-Pulse risk and bow tie analysis of risk.
  • Assist with the aggregation and consolidation of the contract risk profiles to identify themesor incident trends for inclusion in the risk profile.
  • Support and guide process owners to ensure that process updates occur based on riskassessment outcomes, including to ensure that process risk assessment learnings from onecontract are shared with other contracts.
  • Support compliance with Group QHSE SMS requirements within the business unit;
  • Comply with relevant legislations, policies, procedures and guidelines;
  • Participate when required in training and induction programs relating to QHSE;
  • Ensure compliance with the Keolis MHI Management System and all relevant businessprocesses, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality andgovernance standards
  • Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, financeand customer information; reference Keolis MHI non-disclosure policy
  • To exercise personal duty of care for their own health, safety and welfare and for thoseaffected by their acts or omissions; reference SMS GSOP-HSE1-6 Keolis MHI organisationalQHSE responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all training requirements of Keolis MHI and ensure adherence tothese requirements always whilst in employment
  • Report any accidents, incidents, breaches or potential breaches to appropriate management or the speak up process. Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the line manager & / or QHSE Director.
  • On-Call
  • Undertake on-call duties as per roster and report notifiable incidents to department leads,Key stakeholders, Regulatory agencies and Executive Director (where required)
  • Support, monitor and report on incident investigations, taking lead where necessary, makingsure that reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Up to date working knowledge of Dubai (and other) railway organisational structures,principles and standards, workflows, procedures and terminology
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Incident investigations skills to a basic level, progressing to Lead Investigator status.

KEY SKILLS

  • Ability to work in a team environment; Commercial and financial intelligence;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Ability to write technical and audit reports, routine business correspondence andprepare / review & update risk assessments & method statements as required;
  • Possess good communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently andwork productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
  • Strong organisational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities;
  • Internal customer service orientation;
  • Working knowledge of computer software programs / systems, particularly in Microsoft Office(example, Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Also, Business Intelligence Tools used by Keolis-
  • Hold a valid UAE driving license with a good driving skill and experience.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum three years, preferably five years, of work experience as a data analyst or dataprocessing and reporting preferably in the transport industry;

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFCATION

  • Ideally a degree holder and a certified risk management professional;
  • Holds a certificate in auditing (such as ISO) and safety such as NEBOSH General Certificate.
