Job summary

AgramHR seeks a Risk & Compliance Officer for a regulated investment company in Dubai. You will lead the risk and compliance function, report to the Credit & Risk Committee, and identify existing or potential risks to develop mitigation plans and manage related activities.

This role requires strong English and Arabic communication, with experience in investment banking and a proven track record in implementing an Enterprise Risk Management framework.

Qualifications

• Requires strong communication in English and Arabic.
• Experience in investment or commercial banking.
• Proven track record implementing Enterprise Risk Management framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee corporate risk management strategy.
• Regularly review and update risk management plan and portfolio risk exposure.
• Ensure compliance function aligns with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Drive implementation of risk management, compliance, legal policies, procedures and processes.

Job description

Role- Risk & Compliance officer for a regulated investment company in Dubai.

Reporting to- Credit & Risk Committee

Purpose- To lead the risk & compliance fucntion of the company and manage all R&C related activities. Idnetify existing or potential risks to the company to develop plans for mitigating & managing risks

Key responsibility areas:

• Develop a coprorate risk management strategy
• Regularly review the risk management strategy to make changes or amendments
• Conduct regular risk evaluations on company's portfolio exposure and make recommendations that enable the company to mitigate risk
• Manage the compliance function in line with applicable regulatory requirements
• Drive the implementaion of risk management, compliance, legal policies procedure and processes

Experience & Skills

• This role requires strong communication skills in English & Arabic
• Experience in Investmnet or Commercial Banking
• Proven track recrod in implementing Enterprise Risk Management framework
