Risk & Acceptance Manager | Majid Al Futtaim Future Solutions | Payments & Operations

ROLE SUMMARY

Risk & Acceptance manager will focus on managing payment acceptance for the group, managing payment risks, and leveraging payment data insights to support the overall objectives of the Payment Center of Excellence. This role is instrumental in optimizing payment operations, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance across all payment activities within Majid Al Futtaim group.

ROLE PROFILE

• Payment Acceptance: Develop and implement strategies to enhance payment acceptance across various channels.
• Monitor and improve payment processing efficiency to reduce transaction failures and enhance user experience.
• Payment Risk Management: Collaborating with MAF business owners to co-create Group-wide Fraud Strategies to ensure robust protection against fraudulent activities and minimize risk exposure while maintaining the highest level of acceptance rates.
• Conducting ongoing fraud risk monitoring for online payment processing, to early identify suspicious behaviors to minimize payment fraud risk.
• Monitoring chargebacks and group financial liabilities, and consistently rebalancing fraud rules to optimize risk management practices.
• Payment Data Insights: Analyze payment data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to payments.
• Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to leverage advanced analytical techniques for deeper insights.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors or Equivalent. Well versed with Microsoft Office applications.
• Minimum experience 10 years in Payment/Financial Institutuons.
• Market Knowledge: Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which Fintech Labs operates.
• Fraud Risk Management and Control: The ability to identify, assess, monitor, control and mitigate risks to Fintech Labs.
• Governance, Oversight and Controls: Strong leadership capabilities and management skills, with the ability to deliver effective controls within Fraud Risk Management through both directly-managed and virtual team
• Regulatory Framework and Requirements: Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the firm operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the position.
