Rigging - Rotary Supervisor - MIRFA Shutdown Bilfinger -UAE

Position: Supervisor - Rigging

Qualification:

• Bachelors/ Diploma/ Certification in any discipline

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years experience in Oil and Gas Industries.

Previous experience in ADNOC Group companies (e.g., AIG, Takreer, Borouge) is an added advantage.

• Knowledgeable of rigging and scaffolding tasks and safety rules.

Salary: 13500 AED (FAT FREE)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Receives work assignment from the Area In-charge; determines work, materials and requirement of tools & equipment.
2. Prepare all lifting tackles of heavy-duty installation works.
3. Collects required items and proceed to work site to carry out the job.
4. Provide basic rigging instructions and signs and assist the Crane Operator when required by giving hand signals during routine work activities.
5. Comply with all safety & fire rules & regulations including the use of protective clothing and equipment and maintain work location in a clean and tidy condition including removal of wastes and spillages.
6. Responsible for providing daily man-hours report to the time office.
7. Ensure the implementation of the Company's Quality & LP policies and core and operating values.
8. Provide direction to assigned labor, which includes allocation of works.
9. Responsible to abide by the Company HR, HSE, IT, Compliance & Quality policies & procedures along with the UAE laws.
10. Fulfil roles and responsibilities as per Abu Dhabi Emirate Environmental, Health and Safety Management System (ADEHSMS) Regulatory Framework Version 2.0 or later versions.
11. Do other tasks as required by the Direct Supervisor/ Management.

Position: Rotary Supervisor

Qualification:

• Technical course (Diploma/ITI) in Mechanical discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent compensated by longer experience.

Experience:

• Very good knowledge of production facilities in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry and of installation, repair, testing and maintenance of wide range Rotating Equipment (like Compressor & Gear Box).

Minimum 10 years experience in Gear Box - oil and gas industries.

Previous experience in ADNOC Group companies (e.g., AIG, Takreer, Borouge) is an added advantage.

Salary: 15000 AED (FAT FREE)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the activities of a team of technicians/Fitters in conducting TA maintenance jobs in assigned area. Ensure necessary support services, spares and consumables are arranged, and Permit to Work is prepared in advance.
2. Continuously monitor activities carried out by his team and advise them as necessary. Report any deficiencies/defects noticed on equipment during the job.
3. Prior to job start ensure that all necessary PPEs, TRA copies are available. During the work, he should make sure applicable HSE procedures are followed.
4. Ensure that necessary repair procedures, drawings and other technical details are available at site and work is performed according to manufacturers' standards & procedures.
5. Work with compressor manufacturers such as MHI, RENK, etc. & Gear Box manufacturers such as FLENDER, and coordinate with OEM vendors.
6. Report overall job progress/status to Contractors area Coordinator. If required, attend Job planning Meetings organized by Company and report job progress, concerns, etc. on daily basis during the TA period.
7. Keep a note of ongoing jobs in nearby areas by other Contractors and accordingly integrate his own team activities.
8. As required, ask for additional resources to ensure jobs are done in accordance with HSE and are completed within scheduled time.
9. Give detailed feedback to area Coordinator on job progress, resource and material requirement and provide advice on job plan for subsequent shifts.
10. Fill and sign-off Company and Contractor provided checklist, clearance charts and box-up certificates and maintain proper filing.

All candidates should have experience in OIL & GAS maintenance Industry, preferably in GCC (MIDDLE EAST COUNTRIES). All Managers/ Engineers should have a Degree in Engineering & Supervisors / Foreman should have a Diploma.
