Job description

The Rides Technician is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of the Miral Experiences Leisure Facilities in the Technical Services Rides Department in relation to the Company Core Process; thus directly impacting the maintenance of rides, facilities, and attractions.

This position provides all necessary maintenance required for preserving and improving the physical functionality, safety, and appearance of all rides, attractions, and facilities to ensure Guest satisfaction.

Job Scope:

  1. Perform daily checks, start-up, closing procedures, and preventive and corrective maintenance for all rides and attractions.
  2. Ensure the rides and attractions are ready before the park operational hours.
  3. Maintain and ensure that all rides and attractions are safe for all colleagues and guests.
  4. Respond to and resolve calls regarding downtime of the rides and attractions.
  5. Reduce downtime by ensuring that all preventive maintenance activities are performed based on manufacturer’s requirements.
  6. Report to and inform Team Leaders about issues and concerns that affect the safe operation of all rides and attractions.
  7. Ensure that all preventive maintenance checklists are completed and submitted to the Team Leader on deadline.
  8. Ensure that all corrective maintenance is performed effectively to prevent recurrence.
  9. Attend briefings, training, and development programs for personal growth.

As an ideal candidate, you must have:

  1. Electrical or Mechanical Diploma.
  2. 3+ years in the maintenance field.
  3. 1+ years of experience in the theme park/amusement park industry.
  4. Expertise in at least one of the following fields:
  5. Electrical
  6. Mechanical
  7. Good English speaking and writing abilities.
