Job summary

SGS Dubai invites an experienced Electrical/ Electronics Lab Engineer to join our accredited testing facility. You will perform RF, safety, IT/AV, and passive component tests in accordance with international standards and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

As part of the team, you will prepare precise test reports, operate and calibrate lab instruments, and support audits and customer inquiries. A degree in electrical engineering or related field and 13+ years in a recognized lab are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications engineering or related field.
• 13+ years of experience in an accredited electrical/electronics testing lab.
• Experience in RF, safety, IT/AV, passive components testing.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and IEC safety/EMC standards.
• Ability to interpret standards and schematics; report writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing for RF products, passive components, IT/AV equipment, and safety evaluations.
• Follow applicable international standards (IEC, CISPR, EN, ETSI, IEC 60335, IEC 62368-1, etc.).
• Prepare and review technical test reports within timelines.
• Operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory test equipment.
• Ensure ISO/IEC 17025 compliance and quality procedures.
• Support internal/external audits and accreditation activities.
• Coordinate with customers and certification bodies for clarifications.
• Maintain records of testing activities and lab data.
• Follow safety requirements and company procedures.
