JPC - 5235 - Revenues and Expenses Specialist

Job Location: Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain

Position Type: 12 months Contractual renewable

Total Experience: 5-10 years

Language Proficiency: English/Arabic

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the department’s revenue and expenditure plans in alignment with the ministry's strategic goals, ensuring efficient allocation and use of financial resources.
  • Supervise the implementation of policies and procedures for revenue collection, ensuring timely and accurate collection of fees, fines, and other income sources.
  • Review and approve spending and payment requests within authorized limits, ensuring compliance with government procurement and financial regulations.
  • Analyze variances from the approved budget, review periodic performance reports, and submit financial reports to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Ensure internal financial controls are in place to safeguard revenues and prevent overspending, in line with federal laws and international accounting standards.
  • Identify opportunities for financial process enhancements, lead change management initiatives, and ensure the department meets its human resource and capability development needs.
