Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Revenue Monitoring Department Manager to lead government revenue collection, analysis, and reporting, ensuring compliance and alignment with strategic objectives.

You will oversee the Government Fees Portal and Smart Payment Gateway, drive forecasts, monitor KPIs, and manage a team, developing risk controls and robust financial processes. This role requires a Finance or related degree, 6+ years in government finance, and UAE national status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant government finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of government revenue, financial reporting, forecasting, reconciliation, and receivables management.
• Strong leadership, analytical, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• UAE National.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monitoring and collection of government revenues, receivables, and overdue debts.
• Develop and approve annual revenue monitoring and collection plans and allocate responsibilities across the team.
• Analyze revenue performance and financial variances and recommend actions to improve collection and recovery.
• Lead revenue forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting for short-, medium-, and long-term planning.
• Oversee the Government Fees Portal, including revenue settlements, financial reconciliations, and resolution of discrepancies.
• Manage invoices and bank guarantees related to Smart Payment Gateway partners.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation between customer collections, portal records, and bank deposits.
• Establish departmental KPIs, operational objectives, and performance targets aligned with organizational strategy.
• Lead and develop the team, including performance management, training, and workforce planning.
• Maintain the department's risk register, BIA, and BCP and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented.
• Review and improve departmental policies, procedures, and operational processes.
• Perform other duties assigned by management within the scope of the role.
