Amazon, one of the world's leaders in ecommerce, is expanding its Retail business and looking for a smart and ambitious Associate Vendor Manager based in Dubai. The role involves enabling new collaborations with vendors to integrate their product portfolios into Amazon's stores. Key Responsibilities
  1. Build the best possible product selection by developing partnerships with new vendors.
  2. Prospect, assess, recruit, and integrate vendors for Amazon marketplaces.
  3. Identify prospects and reach out to new vendors via cold calling, attending events, and trade fairs.
  4. Explain the advantages of partnering with Amazon and serve as a business consultant to new vendors.
  5. Assist vendors in integrating their catalog data into Amazon's systems and train them on using internal tools.
  6. Develop a deep understanding of vendor needs and success drivers.
  7. Analyze vendor performance and report findings.
  8. Improve recruiting and onboarding processes, addressing technical issues and enhancements.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience with Excel.
  • At least 5 years in retail operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiation skills and a track record of delivering results.
  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years of professional/military experience.
  • Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
  • Experience managing large datasets to drive performance improvements.
  • Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing, promotion, inventory management, and product development.
