Profile

POSITION PURPOSE

Support all Retail Education projects by delivering training, onboarding new joiners, focusing on omni-channel and client experience, and supporting the development of retail employees' career paths. Collaborate with key business partners for project implementation and delivery.

Location and Travel

This role is based at Sephora University, Dubai, with store visits (50% of time) and travel to OGCC countries (Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain). Weekly visits to UAE flagships and quarterly or as-needed visits to other countries.

Key Accountabilities
Retail Training
  • Deliver all retail-related training modules, both in-class and digital formats.
  • Update and create training materials for onboarding, Sephora attitude, omnichannel, cashier training, and other retail growth initiatives.
  • Lead onboarding initiatives in partnership with HR and store management, including digital onboarding, induction, and coaching.
  • Create training materials for retail animations like Ramadan and Festive seasons.
  • Monitor knowledge retention and growth post-training.
  • Maintain and update training modules and digital content.
  • Analyze client feedback, mystery shopping, and Love Meter data to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Retail, Store Management, HR, Beauty Training, and KSA Field Coaches.
Coaching & Support at Store Level
  • Coordinate with Retail & Leadership Education Manager on focus areas.
  • Align with retail managers on store priorities.
  • Support coaching and development of cash team members.
  • Conduct on-floor coaching, assessments, and provide feedback.
  • Follow up on training effectiveness and knowledge assessments.
  • Visit flagship stores weekly and regions biannually or as needed.
  • Assist in annual store team assessments and support development plans.
  • Encourage engagement with Sephora LMS among store teams.
Project Management
  • Support retail-related project training in collaboration with project leaders.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project training meeting business requirements.
Skills, Qualifications & Attributes

The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years of retail experience at a supervisory or management level, preferably with Sephora. Experience in training and supporting learning projects is advantageous. Arabic language skills are a plus.

Strong communication and presentation skills are essential. The candidate must be agile, flexible, and capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders. A passion for people, creativity, independence, and understanding business needs are crucial. Excellent communication and influencing skills are required to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
