Job Responsibilities
- Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to Sales personnel.
- Supervise and guide team towards maximum performance.
- Provide or organize training and development if required.
- Maintain proper discipline and rules and regulations in the store.
- Ensure excellent customer service to maximize sales.
- Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
- Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget.
- Control store inventory and implement effective control measures.
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation and increase sales.
- Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise.
- Ensure store products are in accordance with plans.
- Plan, organize, and oversee in-store promotional events or displays.
- Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store.
- Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts.
- Ensure the store fulfills all legal health, safety guidelines and statutory compliance, and address security issues of the store.
- Deal with other aspects of the business, such as customer service, finance, human resources, information technology, logistics, or marketing.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Fashion / Gems and jewellery industry experience preferred to fulfill customer expectations.
- Good communication skills to help improve work processes.
- Understanding of the technology ecosystem inside-out.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of retail management best practices.
- Excellent knowledge of retail management software.
