Retail Store Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to Sales personnel.
• Supervise and guide team towards maximum performance.
• Provide or organize training and development if required.
• Maintain proper discipline and rules and regulations in the store.
• Ensure excellent customer service to maximize sales.
• Prepare and control the store’s budget aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
• Monitor stock levels and purchases and ensure they stay within budget.
• Control store inventory and implement effective control measures.
• Deal with complaints from customers to maintain the store’s reputation and increase sales.
• Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise.
• Ensure store products are in accordance with plans.
• Plan, organize, and oversee in-store promotional events or displays.
• Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store.
• Analyze sales and revenue reports and make forecasts.
• Ensure the store fulfills all legal health, safety guidelines and statutory compliance, and address security issues of the store.
• Deal with other aspects of the business, such as customer service, finance, human resources, information technology, logistics, or marketing.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Fashion / Gems and jewellery industry experience preferred to fulfill customer expectations.
• Good communication skills to help improve work processes.
• Understanding of the technology ecosystem inside-out.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Knowledge of retail management best practices.
• Excellent knowledge of retail management software.
