Job Description

To ensure smooth and efficient operations in the retail department in relation to the company core process thus directly impacting on the delivery of the experience. This position plays an essential role in establishing and up keeping the efficient running of day‑to‑day store and stock room operations front and back of house. Ensures the store and stock rooms are replenished and clean. Takes a proactive role in adhering to the Miral service standards as well as leisure facility branding guidelines where required. Displaying excellent product knowledge, efficiency, accuracy in inventory is a priority.

Inventory Management
  • Ensure all inventory counts are performed accurately each day to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Promptly post all daily inventory counts, internal transfers, and weekly spoilage to maintain up‑to‑date inventory records.
  • Conduct monthly inspections of all confectioneries and sundry items to proactively identify and remove short‑expiry products in advance.
Supporting Store Operations
  • Attentively verify and receive stock replenishments from the warehouse on a weekly basis to ensure uninterrupted retail operations.
  • Collaborate with Retail Ops members to assist with urgent orders, specific requests, and internal transfers, ensuring that inventory needs are met efficiently.
  • Assist cashiers with quick price checks, providing barcodes and product replacements to ensure smooth transactions and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Any other tasks as required to support the needs of the business, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and operational efficiency.
Health and Safety
  • Operate equipment such as ladders, pallet jacks, trolleys and buggy safely.
  • Proactively ensure the workplace is clean, organized, and free from hazards, fostering a safe environment for both staff and customers.
  • Physical strength and ability to carry, lift, and operate items effectively.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration
  • Communicate store operation, inventory concerns, and visual merchandising requests to the team.
  • Actively participate in team briefings, training sessions, and collaborative gatherings to help achieve team targets and foster a culture of teamwork.
  • Assist in completing team tasks when required.
  • Share experience and guide new employees when required.
Brand Representation
  • Maintain a professional appearance, adhering to the company dress code.
  • Stay informed about the brand’s products, promotions, and Miral values.
  • Able to wear retail products as part of the uniform to promote when required.
  • Adhere to the company and department policies and procedures.
Essential
  • Higher secondary or equivalent.
