Overview of the role:

The Retail Sales Representative is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience, along with various operational duties assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping, visual presentation standards).

What you will do:

Description of Accountability:

  • Maintain store standards and cleanliness to create a sparkling clean and organized environment.
  • Provide high-level customer service at all times, being knowledgeable about product categories to assist and advise customers professionally.
  • Create a positive first impression through energetic attitude and appropriate dress code.
  • Assist the Store Manager with daily store operations, including opening, closing, security, and management coverage.
  • Greet customers immediately upon entry with a friendly smile and sincere greeting.
  • Train new staff on POS operation and handle customer issues at the POS to ensure seamless service.
  • Provide relevant product information, ensure compliance with pricing and ticketing procedures to prevent losses.
  • Assist customers in fitting rooms, follow up promptly, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and promote additional sales.
  • Offer gift cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information.
  • Thank customers as they exit and invite them to return.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

  • Participate in store meetings and related functions.
  • Represent a positive attitude towards merchandise, the brand, and the company.
  • Participate in inventories and complete other duties assigned by management.
  • Meet or exceed weekly sales goals.
  • Adhere to work schedules, be punctual, and work well with peers and management.
  • Follow company policies and perform housekeeping duties as required.

Required Skills to be successful:

  • Friendly and engaging personality, comfortable working with the public.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
  • Confident, helpful, polite, and physically fit.
  • Experience in stock replenishment.
