Overview of the role:

The Retail Sales Representative is responsible for sales generation, delivering a positive customer experience, and performing operational duties as assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping, visual presentation standards).

What you will do:
Description of Accountability:
  1. Maintain store standards and cleanliness to create a sparkling, organized environment. Provide high-level customer service, being knowledgeable about product categories and able to assist and advise customers professionally.
  2. Create a positive first impression through energetic attitude and adherence to dress code. Assist the Store Manager with daily operations, including opening, closing, and security, and run the store in the manager's absence if required.
  3. Greet customers immediately upon entry with a smile and sincere greeting. Train new staff on POS operation and handle customer issues at the POS to ensure smooth service.
  4. Provide current and relevant product information. Ensure compliance with store procedures regarding pricing and ticketing to prevent losses.
  5. Offer quality service in fitting rooms, follow up with customers promptly, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to increase sales.
  6. Provide efficient cashier service, offer gift cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer data.
  7. Thank customers sincerely as they exit and invite them back.
Miscellaneous Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in store meetings and related functions.
  2. Maintain a positive attitude towards merchandise, brand, and company.
  3. Participate in inventories.
  4. Complete other duties as assigned by management.
  5. Meet or exceed weekly sales goals.
  6. Be punctual and adhere to the work schedule.
  7. Work flexibly with peers and management to accomplish duties.
  8. Follow company policies and procedures.
  9. Perform housekeeping duties as required.
Required Skills:
  • Friendly, engaging personality comfortable working with the public.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for at least 8 hours.
  • Confident, helpful, polite, and physically fit.
  • Experience with stock replenishment.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • 4-5 years’ experience in the watch industry.
  • Proven ability to achieve goals.
  • Good personality and communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship skills and accountability.
