Job summary

Minimalist is seeking a Retail Sales Executive for our Dubai stores to build lasting relationships with customers. You will understand client needs, showcase products, and guide them to suitable luxury items such as watches and jewelry.

The role requires 2+ years in UAE luxury retail, fluent English and Arabic, and a passion for delivering impeccable service. We offer visa support, health insurance, flight allowances, and growth opportunities in a fast-growing brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in customer-facing sales within the UAE luxury, watches, or jewelry sector.
• Fluent English communications and fluent Arabic communications.
• Ideally a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, or similar.
• Ideally a certification in sales management from accredited providers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers, building rapport and providing detailed product information.
• Actively approach customers, assess needs, and recommend products to fit preferences and close sales.
• Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Minimalist.ae is a local brand founded in 2016 in Dubai that designs and manufactures elegant, high-quality watches, jewelry, handbags, perfumes, and leather goods designed to enhance personal style. With four stores now open in the UAE, we focus on simple yet sophisticated designs, with specifically our Arabic numeral watches being known for their timeless appeal. Minimalist believes in simplicity and use only the finest materials to produce beautiful and durable items, combining elegant design with excellent quality.

The Role:

As Retail Sales Executive, you will be in direct touch with our customers on a daily basis across our stores in the UAE. We don’t sell - we forge relationships. You will get to know our customers’ demands in detail in order to showcase the product(s) that will most closely fit to what they’re looking for. Every person that comes to visit our store is important to you, regardless of whether they’re on a spending spree or just window-shopping.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and engage customers, providing detailed product information and building rapport with the customers.
• Actively approach and assist customers, answer questions, understand their needs and recommend products tailored to their preferences, and convince customers to finalize a purchase.
• Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Increase sales through explaining promotions, special offers, discounts, and other sales tools that the business is utilizing.
• Independently keep track of sales records, coordinate with respective departments, and optimize performance.
• Uphold the brand’s standards of excellence in every customer interaction.

Requirements:

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in customer-facing sales roles within the UAE in luxury, watches, or jewelry;
• Ideally a relevant academic degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, or similar;
• Ideally relevant certification in sales management from accredited providers;
• Outstanding communication skills in English;
• Outstanding communication skills in Arabic.
