Job description

Receive the customer and engage with the customer to understand the customer’s requirement.

Responsibilities:

  1. Introduce various product offerings to the customers and facilitate customer’s buying decision.
  2. Prepare the estimate of the products selected and complete the sales transaction through PDA Device.
  3. Achieve category-wise sales target for the allocated section.
  4. Promote and enroll customers in Schemes, highlighting and promoting its benefits.
  5. Support customers in the scheme opening process.
  6. Engage children with suitable gifts (balloons, colouring books, etc.).
  7. Understand the queries and complaints from the customer and address them with the right solution (take support from store leadership wherever required).
  8. Manage customer experience in the assigned section as per established guidelines, support in all after-sales queries.
  9. Identify potential customers and refer them to the store.
  10. Tele calling (if applicable) - calling up new customers, inviting existing customers and leads for promotional events, campaigns, etc.
  11. Appropriate packing of products according to the Product Category.
  12. Be responsible for proper and attractive display of the products at the appropriate counter free from dust and dirt daily.
  13. Monitor the stock in the section and ensure adequate stock for sales.
  14. Count and maintain the account of stock daily by managing the record of the opening stock and closing stock in the section allocated.
  15. Report the sold stock in the section for reordering to the sales manager for timely stock replenishment.
  16. Monitor the dead stock and liaise with the store manager to minimize the same.
  17. Transfer the stock to the locker at the close of the day; maintain safety of jewelry displayed to customers and communicate promptly to the superiors about any potential theft.
  18. Adhere to cost-saving practices undertaken in the store.
  19. Provide discounts within one’s limit, obtaining approval from store leadership for further discounting (if any).
  20. Billing - entering accurate details of customers (Name, Address, Date of birth, etc.).
  21. Support sales team for collection of cash and card transactions from customers.
  22. Develop and maintain relationships and networks with competitors to leverage leading practices & learning to improve store level processes.
  23. Provide support to the marketing team for potential customer visits and exhibitions.
  24. Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to time as a standalone project or regular work.
