Job Summary :

The Retail Operations Manager will oversee the performance, profitability, and growth of multiple retail locations across the UAE. This role is responsible for driving sales, optimizing operational efficiency, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and identifying new opportunities for business expansion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in multi-store management, strategic sales planning, and team leadership within a competitive retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Growth

• Drive and achieve yearly sales targets for all UAE locations.
• Analyze store strengths and weaknesses to optimize sales potential using available commercial insights.
• Develop strategies to turn around underperforming stores.
• Track and analyze new product sales and integrate them into overall sales strategies.
• Conduct regular market studies to stay ahead of competitors.

Operational Excellence

• Ensure operational efficiency by monitoring store administration systems.
• Manage controllable operating costs within budgetary guidelines.
• Oversee stock replenishment processes to prevent lost sales opportunities.
• Implement stock security measures to minimize losses from damages, shrinkage, or aging inventory.
• Monitor and address slow-moving and dead stock.

Customer Experience & Visual Merchandising

• Ensure all stores deliver service levels that exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain brand-aligned visual merchandising standards across all locations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and housekeeping regulations.

Team Leadership & Development

• Deploy, manage, and motivate store teams to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Provide floor coaching and partner with the training manager to address development needs.
• Communicate goals, performance updates, and operational expectations clearly to all teams.

Commercial & Vendor Relations

• Negotiate with mall management and landlords to secure optimal rental agreements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and warehouse teams to ensure timely product replenishment.
• Build relationships to support operational needs and expansion opportunities.

Business Development & Projects

• Identify and evaluate potential locations for expansion and prepare proposals for management.
• Support project teams in securing necessary local approvals and formalities.
• Supervise and participate in the roll-out of new projects, ensuring outlets open on time.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in multi-store retail operations, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and turning around underperforming stores.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of visual merchandising, inventory management, and retail best practices.
• Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and retail management software.
• Flexible to travel across the UAE for store visits and project supervision.
