Job description

  • Analyze product movement data, demand, stock levels, and ageing.
  • Identify peak trading factors by brand and product.
  • Leverage customer and market insights to recommend optimal product ranges, positioning, merchandising, packaging solutions, store assortment, and pricing strategies.

Style/Fabric/Color/Size Analysis:

  • Conduct demand, stock, ageing, and price analysis.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and market positioning.
  • Advise on stock and space management relative to brand and product range objectives.

Stock Management:

  • Oversee product movement, stock in shops, stock in transit, and warehouse inventory (both UAE and overseas).
  • Monitor stock transfers across locations based on sales trends and requirements.
  • Forecast sales plans and revise stock requirements during in-season trading, creating detailed merchandise plans at the store and department level.

Shop Analysis:

  • Provide precise information on fast and slow-moving products with documentation.

Product Life-Cycle Management:

  • Alert the team if inventory levels of regular style products fall below the minimum required level.
  • Collaborate with sourcing and supply chain teams to ensure effective planning, forecasting, forward buying, and inventory management.

Product Lines:

  • Suits, shirts, trousers, casual wear (including denim jeans), knitwear (T-shirts, pullovers, and innerwear), outerwear, ladies’ products, shoes, leather jackets, socks, bags, and accessories.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in merchandising, planning, and allocation within a fashion retail environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
