Job summary

Mace Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a major UAE shopping mall refurbishment. You will lead planning, coordination and delivery of multiple fit-out packages from design through handover, interfacing with the client, consultants and contractors.

You will manage multiple projects in a live environment, ensuring programme, cost, quality and safety targets are met, while minimising disruption to mall operations.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• Proven delivery experience on retail fit-out, refurbishment or redevelopment projects.
• Experience working in live operational environments such as shopping malls or mixed-use developments.
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing capabilities.
• Understanding of fit-out construction processes, MEP coordination, statutory approvals and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of multiple fit-out and refurbishment packages from design through handover.
• Act as primary point of contact between client, consultants, contractors, tenants and operations teams.
• Supervise multiple projects to meet programme, cost, quality and safety objectives.
• Review contractor programmes, methodologies and resource plans and advise on sequencing.
• Coordinate design development, technical reviews and value engineering.
• Monitor progress and proactively manage risks, issues and mitigations.
• Ensure works align with approved designs, UAE regulations and best practice.
• Chair project meetings and report status, milestones and commercial matters.
• Minimise disruption to mall operations through effective stakeholder communication.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging and project close-out.
