Retail Fit-out Planner

We are currently looking for a Retail Fit-out Planner with a strong background in the fit-out industry to join our creative and dynamic team.

Role Overview:

The Retail Fit-out Planner will be responsible for creating a list of project deliverables and coordinating project timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mall fit-out industry and strong project management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ability to read and understand Architectural and Engineering Plans and Construction details.
2. Outlining the SCOPE OF WORK including determining the start and opening dates of the shops.
3. Creating and defining project target dates with the Project Team and VP.
4. Tracking the project timeline and making sure teams adhere to delivery dates.
5. Managing the human and capital resources of a project to ensure timely delivery with quality.
6. Ensuring the project has adequate staff or subcontractors to complete each stage on schedule.
7. Identifying and evaluating risks that can derail project delivery and providing solutions to prevent them.
8. Providing reports on changes to the original project plan that can lead to serious delays and budget issues.
9. Providing additional project data to teams to help them work more effectively.
10. Identifying and communicating changes in the project plan to different people and departments.
11. Collaborating with other departments on short and long-term plans for work scheduling.
12. Assisting the project manager to improve performance and efficiency.
13. Documenting and maintaining records on project scheduling processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
2. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in project planning or scheduling, preferably in the fit-out industry.
3. Proven experience in creating and managing work breakdown schedules or project deliverables using MS Excel or other project management software such as MS Project, Primavera.
4. Background in project management, commercial and operations in the fit-out or construction industry is preferred.
5. Knowledgeable in Mall Lease of Lease Outline Drawing (LOD), Tenant Manual, Mall and Authority Approvals, DEWA /Civil Defense Requirements.
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
