Role: Retail Finance Application Technology Lead
Location: Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
Act as a facilitator for transforming business requirements into effective solutions within Consumer Finance Solutions and Channel Applications. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing business requirements, liaising with internal/external parties to find and supervise the evaluation of suitable solutions. The requirements discussion proposes enhancements to business/technical processes for better automation of respective business overseas project activities and ensures that implementation is as per defined standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the production systems within IT owned by Retail Consumer Finance.
- Raise and follow up required change requests and tickets in service manager.
- Prepare/review IARs and related documents related to projects and tasks for approvals.
- Gather requirements from Business users for projects, operational requests, and enhancements for technical teams.
- Coordinate between project and business teams during project execution.
- Support UAT of projects and tasks, including preparation of documents and approvals.
- Support go-live and post go-live activities for assigned projects and tasks.
- Translate ADIB Business requirements to vendors (in technical steps) and vice versa.
- Escalate issues and suggest corrective actions. Follow up on assigned Projects and Tasks.
- Track, resolve, and report incidents and known errors through the approved processes.
- Follow mandatory standards set by management in service delivery.
- Complete assigned tasks within agreed timeframes to satisfy user needs.
- Support go-live and post go-live activities for projects/releases to production.
Key Accountabilities
Operational Support
- Follow-up and track service issues, respond to tickets promptly.
- Report incidents and known errors per approved processes.
- Adhere to standards set by management.
- Execute relevant tasks assigned by ADIB IT management within agreed timeframes.
Communication
- Attend team and one-to-one meetings to foster communication.
- Respond timely to emails and follow up with stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit task status reports.
Documentation / Process Ownership
- Maintain and update documented processes related to the job function.
People & Attendance
- Work cohesively with team members and maintain good attendance habits.
- Adhere to working hours, with possible extended hours based on tasks.
Information Security
- Maintain information security related to ADIB.
- Report risks or incidents affecting security promptly.
- Maintain a risk-free IT environment.
Technical Skills / Knowledge
- Knowledge of FinnOne end-to-end lending process, Java WebLogic, Oracle SQL, Sybase, Unix, PRIME Card Solutions.
- Project management, problem solving, conflict resolution, risk management, and communication skills.
