Job summary

The role supports uninterrupted operations by maintaining lighting, power distribution, control panels, switchgear, and emergency systems while following applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and established maintenance standards.

Qualifications

• ITI certification or Diploma in Electrical or related trade.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience assisting with electrical installations and maintenance in retail or commercial environments.
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions, coordinate with a technical team, and comply with safety requirements.
• Experience with emergency lighting, switchboards, and power systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, control panels, switchgear, and emergency backup systems.
• Diagnose electrical faults and conduct inspections to identify issues with wiring, circuits, outlets, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and complete repairs according to quality standards.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete activities within defined timelines.
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, load calculations, and wiring diagrams to support installation work.
