What you'll be doing:

The Retail Audit Executive is responsible for reviewing and evaluating organizations' front-end retail operations, assessing the effectiveness and adequacy of the internal controls stipulated in operational policies and procedures. The role acts as a business consultant and assurance provider to the business, reporting to and assisting the Manager with reviews and special projects as required.

Job Description:

  • Carry out operational and compliance audit duties such as evaluating internal controls, applying professional audit techniques, preparing audit reports, developing solutions, and documenting findings.
  • Perform policy compliance tests, formulate, and implement the company's retail audit programs.
  • Identify insights, outliers, and value through analytical procedures.
  • Communicate and reach agreements on findings with the audited store and initiate remedial actions.
  • Share audit reports within predefined timelines and discuss findings with the store's direct Line Manager.
  • Carry out ad hoc assignments based on management requests.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance to internal teams, managers, and specialists as required.
  • Lead investigations.

Functional/Technical Competencies:

  • Good background in computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), data visualization, and analytical tools.
  • Ability to see beyond what's obvious.
  • Attention to detail and understanding of the big picture.
  • Risk assessment capabilities.
  • Experience in leading and completing investigations.

Educational Qualification:

Minimum High School Diploma covering 12-year standard education; a university degree is an advantage.
